What’s always in my handbag?
Tweezers. They’re a multi dimensional tool that can be used in any life-threatening situation. top

What is my greatest extravagance?
A pair of tweezers in every handbag. top

Which fictional character do I most admire?
Wonder woman. Superman was from another planet, he had bulletproof skin, x-ray vision and he could fly–Wonder woman was a regular Amazon, sure she did have some great gadgets...the invisible plane, the magic lasso and bullet proof bracelets. But she had to get into the plane, she had to throw the lasso with accuracy and be agile enough to catch the bullets on steel enclosed wrists....some mornings I can’t even manage to get the toothbrush into my mouth. top

How long have I been doing comedy?
I did my first stand-up try-out in 1986. top

How did I get started?
The Last Laugh was a venue in Melbourne that had a Try-out night every Tuesday. I stumbled in there one Tuesday, did a routine about Primal Therapy which only happened to work because the room was full of psychiatrists. They’d been at psychiatrists’ conference down the road and for relief decided they wanted to see some comedy. They thought I was terrific. But sadly, after that I died every week for a year until I finally got a handle on what I was supposed to be doing and who I really wanted to be on stage. Facing the audience made a huge difference. top

What makes me laugh?
Seeing some one trying to shove a huge hot-dog with onions, cheese, mustard and mayo into their gob at around 3am after a gig is inspirational and makes me laugh out loud. top

What really pisses me off?
If I throw up after eating a huge hot-dog with onions, cheese, mustard and mayo. top

What’s my favourite food?
I think I already answered this question. top

What do I do to relax?
I like to float in the middle of a lake in an old tyre tube drinking chilled chocolate Ovaltine. I love the intoxicating smell of rubber and milk. top

Standing in front of an audience whose faces are aching from laughter. top

What is my greatest fear?
Walking out on stage and having the audience just stare at me. top
